Wedding Invitation Stamp – Exclusively For Wedding Invitations

San Francisco-based Michael Osborne Design, the award-winning firm that has been heavily involved with Indiana University Athletics’ brand identity program, was also selected by the United States Postal Service (USPS) to create the new Love stamp. The first day issue ceremonies of the Love Stamp took place at the APS Stamp Show in Atlantic City, N.J.

The Love stamp is extremely popular with the public, second in sales only to the annual Christmas stamp. The Love Stamp is printed in 37-cent and 60-cent denominations, and the 60-cent stamp is used almost exclusively for wedding invitations. The USPS prints nearly 1.2 billion Love stamps at one time.

Michael Osborne is a 1978 honors graduate of Art Center College of design and established Michael Osborne Design. In addition to being a featured speaker at numerous design colleges and conferences, Osborne has been a faculty member at the Academy of Art College and the University of California at Berkeley. His work is also on permanent display at San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum in New York.
